Thomas Lewis Hughes has been charged with endangering the safety on an aircraft. He tried to open an exit door in the middle of the flight. The 56 year old has been accused of acting recklessly and without neglect on the flight between Kenya and London Gatwick airport, westsussex, and last may.
Mr Hughes, of Anglesey is still on bail by magistrates in Crawley. The incident happened on a Monarch Airplane from Mombasa. He has to appear before Crawley magistrates on June 30 for committal proceedings.
Police are investigating the reason in which Mr Hughes wanted to commit such an action while the plane was full of people.
In my opinion Mr Hughes is completely out of his mind. He must have some kind of mental disease because no one in their right mind would do such a thing. He is not only endangering his own life but lives of innocent people. I bet there were also children aboard who are only now starting to live and someone with personal problems or what so ever wants to take that away from them. I ask myself how did this happen? Didn’t anyone notice anything strange about his behaviour? I think the best was to tackle the situation not to leave him get on a plane ever again. If he wants to travel he has to just do it by train.
Wow, that man is really insane! He definitely must have a mental disorder; I do not think “normal” people would even think about doing such a brainless thing. I am really curious about the reason why he had done this though. Such deeds certainly do not promise any good. I could imagine how the people in the aircraft were feeling, being located with an idiotic person.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow on earth could the man open the exit door in the middel of the flight? I am sure that this man have mental disorder, otherwise he would not play with his live and with other people who were in the plane. this man should be locked up in the jail a few months and aftar that he should not be allowed to travel by plane.
